Social Media Reacts to Penny Ntuli Leaving Gagasi FM Over R2 800 Salary. Nothing is as painful as fame without fortune. This is exactly what Penny Ntuli has been experiencing, before finally deciding to put a stop to it.
The radio personality joined Gagasi FM in 2022. These according to her has been the most amazing two years. Sadly even good things come to an end. Penny has decided not to renew her contract with the radio station over salary issues. She is not happy with the R2 800 per months salary that was put on the table.
Taking to social media, Penny shared her resignation letter and new contract offer. The new contract offer shows an amount of R711,98 per Sunday show that will run for 3 hours. After trying to negotiate a better offer, Penny was apparently told to try alternative options than radio.
Penny wrote on her Instagram, “To confirm the “rumours”, yebo ngiyashiya emsebenzini. It was time to renew contracts & I was given the opportunity to come back this season. I gladly accepted the new show until I was told ukuthi I’ll be getting paid R 2 800 p/m. (Something not too far from what I was getting paid the past 2 years).”
The news has left social media users reeling from shock. Many are bashing the station, for what they are doing to such talent. Gagasi FM, however, is yet to comment on the issue.
