“Thank You to Everyone for Checking On My Family,” Nozipho Ntshangase. For a couple of days now, the Ntshagane family has been trending on social media. It first started with news that the family head, Zola Ntshangane was taking a second wife. According to some reports, his wife Nozipho Ntshangane found out about the traditional marriage on social media.
While the public was still trying to digest the news, in came more. Social media went buzzing with a circulating a video of Zola shouting at his older sons. The boys wanted to have a conversation with him on some issues, but he was hearing none of it. In the video Zola is telling them off, accusing them of trying to hold him hostage.
Zola then released a statement confirming the rumors that he had paid lobola for his new wife, Misokuhle Mzizi. He said the lobola which is still in process, is done in accordance with tradition and culture. Zola also defended his new wife from social media users, who have been bashing her since the news broke out. He also added that he has always supported his first wife Nozipho in her endeavors, and continues to do so. His statement, did not help the matter in any way. In fact, it made people choose sides between him and Nozipho.
Opening up for the first time since the family made headlines, Nozipho has thanked those who have been checking on her family. The reality show star also shared Philippians 4: 3, which reads, ‘For I can do anything through Christ who gives me strength.’
