RCL FOODS is seeking a Workshop Assistant to join our Foods Division. The role will be based in Thohoyandou and report to the Transport Manager.
RCL FOODS is looking for a Workshop Assistant to assist mechanics in maintenance and repair of trucks.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- Mechanical knowledge and experience
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics in maintenance and repairs of trucks and trailers
- Upkeep of records as required.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work on generators and other machinery as requested by the Transport Manager
- Ensuring that work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Ensure that daily and weekly cleaning of the work area is done.
- Carry out any workshop related activities as requested by the Fleet Manager
- Must be willing & able to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Must adhere to health & safety regulations.
