A New Party? Podcast and Chill Petitions for Parliament
A New Party? Podcast and Chill Petitions for Parliament. Only a few months before the national general elections. A couple of weeks back President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the 2024 general elections will be held on the 29th of May 2024. Eligible voters were encouraged to exercise their rights, by casting a vote in the announcement.
The registration to vote was closed officially two weeks back. This means that if you did not register, you can’t vote come May the 29th. Young people, as the future of the country were encouraged using many ways to go register. Some did not do that, because they feel there isn’t much youth representation in parliament. Event though there are young members of parliament, their voice is not that loud.
It seems though that young people’s wishes are about to be met with as Chillers are petitioning to have their own political party. Podcast and Chill With MacG has urged their fans to join them later today in Braamfontein as they petition for parliament. All they need is a thousand signature, for their petition to go forward.
“Phakama Chiller. Let’s Unite. We are going to be in BRAAMFONTEIN today at 4pm to petition for parliament. Join us outside the Wing Republic in Braamfontein in Johannesburg,” the announcement reads.
Phakama Chiller ‼️ Let’s Unite.
