1. Mahlatse Moropo was born 18 November 2003 in Polokwane, Limpopo
2. The upcoming talent studied at Northern Academy Secondary School. Some of the subjects he did include drama, dance, and sports.
3. The first production he played in was Our Cry, a production by Get down Productions from the Mahuma Group, written and directed by the late Paul Rapetsoa. It was produced by Matome Rapetseoa.
4. He is best known for the character of Charles Kunutu’s son, Letetswe on Skeem Saam. Letetswe is friendly, opinionated, and outgoing. Family is important to him and he is very protective of his cousin, Mahaltse Kunutu.
5. Mahlatse had auditioned for the role in September 2021 and was ecstatic when he was informed that he had gotten the role. “I had received an email telling me that I bagged the role of ‘Letetswe’ and it was one of my happiest moments,” he said.
6. Before he made it as a cast member on Skeem Saam, Mahlatse has been acting for nine years. Getting a big break after almost a decade, shows that dedication and perseverance pays.
7. On top of being an actor, Mahlatse is also an MC, choreographer, dancer, and voice-over artist.
