Sales Assistant Wanted At Now Media. The organization is looking for a motivated and experienced sales assistant to join its team. As a sales assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team in generating leads and assisting with all administrative tasks, with a long-term view of developing into a new business sales role.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the sales team in generating leads and identifying potential clients
• Assisting with all administrative tasks
• Coordinating and scheduling meetings, following up on action items
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions
• Collaborating with other departments to support sales efforts
• Be the backup to the advertising coordinators
• Assist the sales director with tasks as and when required

Requirements:

• An aptitude for and a desire to be in new business sales
• Proven experience in sales or similar role
• Knowledge of CRM systems and practices
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Own car and a valid driver’s licence – or a plan to acquire these
• Matric essential
