Funeral Details of Nompilo Dlamini Shared. As much as she was seriously sick, everyone had hope that one day a miracle would happen. Sadly for Nompilo Dlamini, she lost the battle to cystic fibrosis, a couple of days back.
Nompilo was known by many social media users, as she openly spoke about her sickness online. Individuals and a number of celebrities used to help where they could. In June 2021, Candice Modiselle came through for Mpilo when she asked for sanitary pads. That time she was hospitalized at at Brenthurst Hospital. The award winning actress also brought Mpilo some fresh flowers and chilled with her.
The biggest thing that Nompilo needed though was lung transplant, as hers were shutting down. She needed up to R2 million to be able to travel to India and get a transplant. In 2021, she asked for donations for the operation and travel expenses. One of the people who played a big role in getting her donations was Cassper Nyovest. The multi-award winning rapper and entrepreneur donated R100 000 which inspired other donors to dig deep into their pockets. Drip founder, Lekau Sehoana also donated a R100 000.
It doesn’t mean that ow that she is no more, people have forgotten about her. Many of her followers still celebrate her, and want to be there for the family. The family has shared both the memorial and funeral service details. The memorial service will be held on Friday 10th of November at Ngwane Park FEA. Mpilo will be laid to rest on the 11th November at Sidzakeni, Ka-Fakude. Otherwise those who can’t physically attend can catch the proceedings live on her social media pages.
