Black Coffee Takes A Moment to Appreciate Artists Who Performed at His Madison Garden Square Show
Black Coffee Takes A Moment to Appreciate Artists Who Performed at His Madison Garden Square Show. There is a famous saying that ‘No Man Is An Island’. This simply means that no one is self-sufficient; everyone relies on others.
This resonates well with Black Coffee, who recently made history. The Grammy Award winning DJ headlined the Madison Garden Square over the weekend, filling up the venue while at it. He became the first ever South African to do so. This was a dream come true for Coffee, a career bucket list sort of achievement.
Coffee’s praises were sang by many including President Cyril Ramaphosa and Arts Sports and Culture Minister Zizi Kodwa. As much as he is receiving well deserved flowers, Coffee couldn’t have achieved all this without the help of his team. Among them are some local artists, who also had a chance to wow the crowd.
For this gig Coffee got the support of another great local act Major League DJz. There were also special appearances from the likes of Bucie, Msaki, Monique Bringham, Shoba, Soul Star, WhoMadeWho and a 12 Piece Orchestra, all of who have played a special part in his musical journey.
“The stars of the show… a showcase of talent I’ve collaborated with during each part of my journey. You all made my @thegarden headline debut unforgettable. I adore you all and the magic you brought to the show. There aren’t enough slides to showcase all of the perfection or my gratitude for those involved. More to follow… 🙏🏿❤️,” he thanked them
