Tumisho Masha Wins Custody of His Daughter. After years of court battles, Tumisho Masha has finally won the custody case against his ex wife.

For years, the multi-award winning actor has been fighting with his ex wife for the custody of their daughter. Not long after their divorce, his ex-wife Zozibini Mtonga accused him of assaulting her in 2016. The former couple then had to constantly be in court to settle their disputes. With their relationship strained, they struggled to co-parent.

Masha and Mtonga separated almost eight years ago and since then, it has been a series of court sessions. A year ago, Masha shared that the battle was finally over, and they were now co-parenting 50/50. He even got to spend Father’s Day with his daughter, who spoiled him rotten.

It’s not clear what happened after that, but it is evident that the parents still did not see eye to eye. Opening up about the situation, Masha says he had to fight charges laid against him pertaining to aggressive behavior towards his child as well as alcohol and drug abuse, which he labelled as fabricated lies.

“I have been in and out of courts every year, since our separation, this in her continued efforts to not only defame my name and my ability to earn an income as a public figure but also to destroy my character as a man and most importantly to deny me my rights as a father in fulfilling my fatherly duties towards my child. This in a continued effort to alienate me from my daughter despite my child’s continued desire to want to spend equal time with both parents,” he said.

Finally, the law got on his side, and it’s a happy ending for the doting father.
