Social Media Reacts to Dr Nandipha Magudumana Breaking Down In Court. Today the world gets to see a different side of Dr Nandipha Magudumana. Instead of the usual smiling and bubbly personality many have come to know, she is now a former shadow of herself, crying for the most part of the court session.

Dr Magudumana is back in the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court, where she is applying for bail. The bail application has been set down for two days. She is one of the 12 accused in the Thabo Bester escape case and was arrested with Bester in Tanzania in April. Bester is a convicted murderer and rapist who escaped from the Mangaung Correctional Centre in May 2022.

So far, Dr Magudumana has told the court that she left for Tanzania against her own will. She states that she was fearful of Bester, who is accused no 5. According to her she was instructed by Bester to get into a car. She complied with his instructions and taken out of the country against her will. She did not voluntarily depart.

Three weeks back, Nandipha, Bester and other accused appeared in court. All the 12 accused looked relaxed, laughing and probably catching up before the proceedings. Bester and Dr Nandipha stole the show as they looked all lovey-dovey and at some pint held hands. Now that she is alone in court, Dr Nandipha is singing a different tune.

Dr Nandipha sat with her eyes closed in the dock ahead of her bail hearing. She cried as her affidavit was read out to the court. Sadly for her, many social media users do not believe that her tears are genuine. They state that this is another one of her tactics to get sympathy.
