Melissa Nayimuli Takes A Moment to Appreciate Well Wishers After Finishing Top 5 In Miss SA 2023. She was among the fan favorites to clinch the crown. Because of how well spoken she is, beauty as well as brains, Melissa Nayimuli had many believing she was going to be the new Miss South Africa.
The TV and Film creative producer, model and beauty queen was also a marvel to watch on the Crown Chasers segment. Melissa impressed the judges, and she went on to make it to Top 7 finalists, who were competing live in front of an audience. Representing the Eastern Cape, Melissa was all confident, delivering perfect answers to questions.
She only went as far as Top 5, of which is a great achievement, considering the competition. Although the ultimate prize is the crown, Melissa is all gracious of how far she went. She feels she has achieved what she prayed for, which is sharing her advocacy to the masses.

All I’ve ever prayed for was to be able to share my advocacy with as many people as possible, to represent us, as Africans in our power, and in our truest form and man, didn’t God do it!!! My heart is full

She is also grateful for the love from supporters. “The love I’ve received is overwhelming! Enkosi, THANK YOU!!! I’ll never forget what you all have done for me ❤️ thank you for walking this Miss South Africa journey with me, it has been such an honour🤎,” Melissa added.
The new Miss South Africa is Natasha Joubert. Byroni Natalie Govender and Nande Mabala are 1st and 2nd runner ups respectively.
