Mdoda Sisters Over the Moon As Their Dad Opens His New Early Childhood Development Centre. Every now and them one of the Mdoda sisters in the industry has to trend for bagging a new gig, or an award. Thembisa and Anele Mdoda are a force to be reckoned with and have been dominating the entertainment industry for years.
By virtue of them being famous it will seem as if they are the only ones putting the family name on the map. That is not the case though, each and every member of the family excels in their respective field. This week, the country is celebrating their father, Patilizwe ‘Pat’ Mdoda who has been working hard building a school.
About seven months ago, Anele shared how far the project was going. Taking to Twitter, the celebrated media personality and entrepreneur shared a couple of pictures of the building while it was still in progress. Anele also shared that back in the day her father attended grade 1 in a hut, and now he has decided to give back to his rural community in a big way.
The early childhood development centre, is now complete and has just been unveiled. The Mdoda family decided to launch the centre on Mandela Day. The launch attracted well respected public figures like Bantu Holomisa. Media personality and former Miss SA Teen Zizo Beda was the MC for the day.
Both Anele and Thembisa, and obviously other siblings, are proud of their dad. They took to social media to celebrate the massive project, sharing behind-the-scenes videos on social media.
