Minnie Dlamini Expresses Gratitude Over Her Recent Acting Award Nomination. Such an exciting day in the industry as the Simon Sabela KZN Film & Television Awards drop nominees. This is the 10th edition of the prestigious award ceremony.
The awards recognize outstanding achievement and excellence within the South African Film and Television industry, with a special focus on KwaZulu-Natal. Among those who will be honored at the awards are actors, producers, directors and various film and television technicians.
Minnie Dlamini, who acts on The Honeymoon is among those nominated. The celebrated media personality, actress and entrepreneur has bagged a nomination under the Best Supporting Actress-Film category. What is even more beautiful about this nomination, is that Honeymoon is Minnie’s first movie role. She regards this as the best early birthday present.

Minnie will be battling it out with the legendary Baby Cele for her role in Ukhumbuzile. Other two nominees in the category are Thokozile Gumede for her Valley of A Thousand Hills and Mandisa Villakazi also on Valley of A Thousand. May the best lady bring the gong home!
