DJ Fresh Shares the Latest Developments on His Case With Nampree. It is not only the Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha’s case that has the country on stand still. Other celebrities have also had their fair share of court time.
One case which made headlines in the last couple of days was between Nampree and media personalities DJ Fresh and Euphonik. The social media activist said the two DJ’s drugged and sexually assaulted her. They thus had to step away from all their public work engagements until the rape allegation issue has been resolved. Primedia Broadcasting also announced that it has parted ways with the two DJs.
The two parties were in and out of court, and everyone in the country picked their side. Some believed Nampree, more so since other people came out claiming the have been sexually assaulted by DJ Fresh. On the other hand there are those who did not buy Nampree’s story. They dismissed her as a feminist who just wanted attention and money from the two DJ’s.
The allegations were dismissed though, and the accused duo subsequently opened a criminal case of defamation against the alleged victim at Sunnyside police station in Pretoria. They claimed that she falsely accused them of rape. The crimen injuria case against the woman, who is known as Nampree on Twitter was dismissed b the NPA.
Well, it seems as if these two parties will forever take each other to court. DJ Fresh has just updated us on their latest court case where Nampree demanded and apopolgy, half a million rands, and for the two to be reinstated. It didn’t end well for her though. Her plea was dismissed, moreover, she has to pay for DJ Fresh and Euphonik’s legal costs.
“Not your fave @Nampree dragging us to court demanding an apology, 500k and to restrain us. She has been told to go jump, AND to pay our legal costs. What a total waste of the court’s time,” DJ Fresh said.
