“She Deserves So Much Better,” METRO FM Listeners Not Happy With Mantsoe’s New Time Slot. It was all excitement a year ago, when Mantsoe Tsatsi stepped into her new role on METRO FM. She was roped in as a co-host of the weekend breakfast show with Nthabeleng Matela on the SABC1 radio station.
“I’m excited to join team Metro. It’s been a long time coming, To Be Honest,” Mantsoe shared on Instagram at the time.
METRO FM has just released their 2023/4 lineup, which has quite a number of changes. Some personalities like Mo Flava have exited the radio station, there are also new faces as well as return soldiers.
One of the most noticeable changes is that of DJ Sabby taking over the breakfast from Mo Flava. The radio personality and DJ will be co-hosting alongside Candice ‘Kandice Kardashian’ Coulsen. Making major comebacks to METRO FM are Somizi and Paul Mtirara. Together with Khutso Theledi, Somizi will take on ‘The Bridge’ from Mondays to Fridays between 09:00 – 12:00. As for Paul, he will host a show ‘Let’s Talk about it’ , which will broadcast from Monday to Thursday from 21:00 – 00:00.
Mantsoe is among the METRO FM presenters who have been given a new show and a totally different time slot. She will host the a show called, Boomerang over the weekend. Her fans though are not happy with this, as the show is on graveyard shift. Its starts from 0:00 to 0:300. This left a bitter taste on so many of her fans; mouths, who feel she deserves a drive-time show because of her talent and experience.
