Sad Note! South Africa Mourns Gloria Bosman. This is yet another sad day for the South African entertainment industry. Just a couple of days ago we were shocked by the untimely passing of musician Costa Titch passed on after collapsing on stage. His death came a month after multi-award winning rapper Kiernan AKA Forbes was shot dead.
Now we have to deal with the death of yet another musician. Gloria Bosman has become the latest celebrity who lost their life, when a lot was still expected from her. The award-winning jazz maestro passed away after a short illness.
The sad news was confirmed by Jazz Legend Sipho Hotstix Mabuza on his Twitter page. He spoke about how sad and gutted he is over the news. Hostix also acknowledged Bosman’s contribution in the industry as a gifted singer.

Bosman was born in Soweto and went on to become one of the country’s most celebrated singers. Her list of honours, includes two SA Music Awards (SAMA’s) and more than eleven nominations as well as two KORA nominations.
The sensational singer has shared the stage with several musical greats; including Hugh Masekela, Sibongile Khumalo, Moses Molelekwa, Tananas and Sipho Mabuse to name a few. Bosman has repeatedly proven to be nothing short of brilliant.
She has been welcomed and hosted internationally from London, France, Finland, Amsterdam, Australia, Angola, Nigeria, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana and even a tour in South America in which she was received in Chile, Argentina, Peru and Venezuela.
