“Words Cannot Describe the Amount of Love I have for This Character,” Siphesihle Vazi. Not so many people were impressed when he was cast as Mlungisi Khoza on The Queen. As time went by, Siphesihle Vazi left his critics eating humble pie by acing the role.
Vazi is known by many as a TV personality, hence why some were not sold about his acting skills. The fact of the matter is that he is a great actor having made his acting debut in a cameo on Muvhango. He played the MC at the wedding of James and Moliehi. In Vazi 2019 landed his first starring role in television when he was cast as Mthoko in the SABC1 comedy-drama series Makoti.
A year ago, he was cast as one of Brutus’ four sons, Mlungisi, a very rebellious chap. His role came to an end a couple of days ago, when he was shot by the family arch rival, Londiwe. This means it is the last we will ever see Vazi on the Mzansi Magic telenovela. Although this is sad, he is grateful for the opportunity and expressed how much the character meant to him.
“Words can not describe the amount gratitude and love I have for this character. I took so many risks in shaping the character, that sometimes I would have sleepless nights wondering if I had made the right choices, by trying to make him different and memorable. Thank you to @ferguson_films for making this one of the most memorable experiences in my acting career and for taking a chance on me🙏🏾. Mother @connie_ferguson thank you for literally changing my life 🥺❤️🥹,” he said.
He also expressed gratitude to his acting coaches Camilla Waldman and Kamogelo Molatlhoe. Not forgetting fellow colleague Themba Ndaba, directors and fans.
