Former Rhythm City Star Bohlokwa Mpiti Joins Another Hit e.tv Soapie. It is quite heartwarming to see a number of Rhythm City actors being absorbed by other shows. The likes of Mduduzi Mabaso, Slindile Nodangala, Setlhabi Taunyane, Mapula Mafole, Mpho Molepo, Oros Mampofu and so many others managed to move on to other shows after Rhythm City came to an end.
One former Rhythm City highly on demand is Bohlokwa Larona Mpiti. Tje talented actor joined the e.tv soapie in October 2020, playing the character of Zak, the love child between Ziyanda and Khulekani. The character brought the much needed drama, as he had a troubled relationship with his folks. Things got even worse when he fell for his half sister.
The end of Rhythm City saw Bohlokwa getting snatched by other productions. Towards the end of 2021, he bagged himself a lead role in an interesting Showmax drama, Umnisamvula. The storyline follows Zanemvula, a young man who was rejected by his father for being blind. As expected Zanemvula grew up an outcast due to his condition. Little does his family know that blindness is not all he was born with: he can summon the rain.
He has just announced his latest role and we are here for it. Bohlokwa has joined the talented cast of Scandal! where he will play the role of a young man called Karabo Pheko. This character is a spoilt brat son of Reginald, and he is definitely going to shake things up.
