Matthew Booth Dismisses Infidelity Allegations and Hands Matter Over to Attorneys. Since Monday, the Booths have been trending on both social media and mainstream media. This is after Sonia Booth accused her husband Matthew Booth for having an affair with another married woman, Bongani Mthombeni-Moller.

Taking to social media this past Monday, Sonia has detailed how her former football player husband, Matthew has been cheating her with fitness fanatic Bongani, who is married woman to Klauss Moller. Bongani has been working closely with Matthew more so since she is the ambassador of Virgin Active. With a whole private investigator, receipts, videos and images, Sonia took to Instagram to drag both Mathew and Bongani.

Although Sonia revealed quite some hectic stuff, both Bongani and Matthew remained mum on the allegations. It is only today that Matthew has decided to break his silence. Also taking the social media route, he has rubbished off the infidelity allegations, saying they are unfounded. Expressing his disappointment, Matthew said he is saddened by Sonia tarnishing his image without even discussing the matter with him first. He also added that their kids who are in the middle of their final examinations will be affected a great deal.

Matthew also appealed to Mthombeni-Möller, the corporates, and sponsors who have partnered with the Booth Trust for the advancement of soccer development initiatives to not let the matter to deter the good work that’s being done, and future. The matter has been handed to attorneys, who according to Matthew have been advised to “vigorously take the necessary steps to claim the appropriate relief.”
