Katlego Maboe Back As My Tropika Island of Treasure Host. 2022, is not yet over, but it is safe to say that it belongs to Katlego Maboe. After having gone through the most in the past two years, he is back, and back with a bang!
The multi-talented TV host and musician lost a couple of gigs, after his personal life made it to social media in 2020. Katlego was suspended as Expresso Morning Show host, lost his gig as OUTsurance ambassador, and was replaced as the host of My Tropika Island of Treasure. His nomination at the South African Film and Television Awards was also revoked. Katlego also went missing in action on social media, and a number of people wrote him off.
This all happened after his then partner and mother of his child, Monique Muller exposed him for cheating as well as domestic violence. Further more, Monique also accused Katlego for giving her an STI. Well, in January this year, he was cleared off the charges, and started working on his personal and professional life.
Katlego is now back in the industry, getting back his gigs. In August his fans were more than happy as he made his way back to Expresso as a host. There is more great news with regards to past gigs. Katlego has just announced that he is back as the host of My Tropika Island of Treasure. He will be joining the All Stars participants in the Seychelles as the host of the second leg of Tropika Island of Treasure season 10.
“Excited to reveal that I’ll be taking over the reigns in Seychelles for the All Star season of @mytropika Island of Treasure,” Katlego announced.
