Moneoa on What Will Help Her in a Court of Law Against Her Ex

Moneoa on What Will Help Her in a Court of Law Against Her Ex. A couple of days ago, she opened up about the kind of life she lived while she was still dating Phiwe Maphanga. Although it took her 5 years to speak, Moneoa has finally found her voice.

Moneoa is one personality who prefers her life private, and deals with drama away from the public and media. This time around though, the renowned musician has had enough and she shared how she allegedly got extorted and physically abused by Maphanga, who claimed to be an affluent businessman.

In a live video on Instagram Moneoa claimed that her relationship started in 2017 and just like many new relationships, it was smooth sailing. They were happy in love, lived large and drove some really nice cars.

We dated for about two years. At the beginning of the relationship, everything flowed really well. We were like a normal happy couple. He told me he was a property developer. He told me that he owned a couple of hotels and properties around Joburg, Cape Town and Eastern Cape. This was the first guy with money that I have ever dated. It was a nice relationship he drove really nice cars,” Moneoa said.

There were some red flags though, and one of them is that Moneoa was not permitted to go and see his apartment. Phiwe also took her BMW and said he was going to fix it, and she has never seen the car since. As time went by there was physical abuse, and a lot of scamming that left Moneoa with almost nothing and no access to music from her latest album.

She took to Twitter advising those still stuck in abusive and conceited relationships, to find some comfort in her story and that you garner yourselves the strength to leave. As for her, she has faith that all the recorded conversations, screenshots of messages, videos and pictures will come through for her in court.

“My only saving grace in a court of law today is that I have 5 years worth of consented recorded conversations, message screengrabs, videos and pictures. It’s probably the only smart thing I did during that relationship,” she said.
