Shona Ferguson’s Family Remember Him a Year After His Passing. Life is no longer the same for the Fergusons. Every time they take a family picture, or go out as a family, one can’t help but feel Shona Ferguson‘s absence.
It feels just like yesterday when we lost one of our key industry players Shona. And to be quite frank not so many people have come to terms with his death, as much as it happened a year ago. This is because Shona was very much part of our lives through his creative work as an actor and director. The award winning actor and businessman sadly died of Covid-19 complications in July 30th 2021, leaving a big gap in the industry and unmeasurable pain to his family.
This past Saturday was the first anniversary of his death, and as expected his family members took to social media to remember him. First is was his widow, Connie Ferguson who penned a brief but powerful message. The talented actress and businesswoman expressed how much they miss Shona as a family. She also stated that although it is tough they are doing okay, and have the memories to keep reminding themselves of Shona.
His daughters Lesedi and Ali Ferguson also sent a shout out to their late father, who they lovingly called Fah. From their messages it is clear that they had a very strong bond with Shona, and all that they want to do is make him proud. We continue to send our heartfelt condolences to the family as they process their grief.
