“Where are You?” Tito Mboweni Asks About Phat Joe’s Whereabouts
“Where are You?” Tito Mboweni Asks About Phat Joe’s Whereabouts. As one of the most talented media personalities we have in the country, it shows when Phat Joe is off the airwaves for a bit. Of late he hasn’t been bagging shows as he used to, something that has been noticed by Tito Mboweni.
The former Finance Minister and Former Bank Governor took to Twitter where he asked about Phat Joe’s whereabouts. According to him, the veteran media personality used to interview him from time to time back in the day on radio.
“There used to be a young man called Phat Joe on the radio. Where is he now? He interviewed me from time to time. Phat Joe, where are you?,” Tito asked.
This is not the first time Mboweni made an inquiry about one of our local broadcasters. In November 2021, he asked bout veteran media personality, Robert Marawa. Mboweni wanted to know what really happened to Marawa’s sports show, which was a hit on the radio station. He demanded Marawa’s return, and was even ready for a petition.
“Radio 2000 is one of the good SABC radio stations. Great line up. Always listening on my home drive to Makgobaskloof. But poor on commercial advertising income. What happened to the great Robert Marawa sports show? I missed something. Let him return! I demand.,Petition time!!,” Mboweni said back then.
From always cooking up a storm and posting his dishes on Twitter, to keeping up with the entertainment industry, this goes on to show how cool Mboweni is.
