Mbalenhle made her television debut on e.tv telenovela Isipho where she starred as Tandzile. When Isipho ended abruptly after 100 episodes, she had smaller roles in other shows among them, Isibaya,  Karektas, House of Zwide, the first season of Durban Gen, and Judas Kiss. Mbale is also known for the role of Nothile, on SABC1 hit drama, Skeem Saam.

She currently plays Hlomu, a lead role on The Wife Showmax Series. Every time an episode drops, Mbale trends on social media, simply because people are in awe of her talent. Now this is where her star shone brighter and she got the recognition that she so deserves. Mbale is now a recognized face in the industry, and she gets invited to major red carpet events around the country.
