Poland’s Karolina Bielawska Walks Away with Miss World 2021 Crown. The grand finale of the prestigious beauty pageant, was temporarily called off in December after several contestants tested positive for Covid-19 . Miss World was then moved to March 2022, 90 days after the initial days, for safety precautions.

The day that many waited for with baited breath finally arrived, and a deserving beauty queen walked away with the crown. Miss Poland 2021 Karolina Bielaws became the 70th Miss World at a pageant that just took place at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Karolina is currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Management and would like to continue her studies with a PhD. Karolina also works as a Model. She enjoys swimming and scuba diving and playing tennis and badminton. She hopes to become a motivational speaker.

Shree Saini from the United States became the 1st runner-up, and fan favorite Olivia Yace from Côte d’Ivoire was announced as the 2nd runner-up.

South Africa was represented by Miss SA 2020, Shudufhadzo Musida. Although the beauty queen and author did not win the ultimate prize, she ran a good race. She made it to Top 40 of the competition, which is quite a great achievement. Other African beauty queens who made it to Top 40, included Botswana, Cameroon, Kenya and Cote D’IVoire.

Shudu also herself the Beauty with a Purpose award, which was presented to her at the Miss World gala dinner a few months ago. This was for her project, which focuses on mental health awareness, something she promoted throughout her Miss South Africa reign. She then became one of 15 beauty queens who received a fast track pass to proceed to the next round.
