Statement! Court Rules in Favor of Katlego Maboe. Talk about light at the end of a tunnel! After two years of battling it out in court, Katlego Maboe has emerged victorious. This comes after his baby mama Monique Muller made some allegations against him which included infidelity and domestic violence.

In 2020 a video of Katlego admitting to infidelity trended on social media. It was also alleged that the talented TV host, used to physically assault Monique. Following the news, Katlego was released from his hosting gig on the Expresso Show which airs on SABC3 as well as all OUTsurance ads that he was popularly known for. A couple of months later, his Best TV Presenter, nomination at the 2021 South African Film and Television Awards was withdrawn following the public outcry over the allegations hanging over him.

Finally the man can smile again, as the Magistrate Court has ruled in his favor. The court dismissed the protection order made against Katlego by Monique as they found no grounds for that. As for for domestic violence allegations, no findings of acts were not made, and as such the claims were also dismissed.

Reacting to the news, the relieved Katlego stated that what is most important at the moment is the well being of his son. He thanked his friends and family for all the support they have given him throughout the past two years. Katlego is determined to put his focus on getting his life back together.
