Pearl Thusi’s Netflix Series Wu Assasins Season II Release Premier Date. The day that many have been waiting for is finally upon us. Wu Assasins Season II, a Netflix series has just dropped it’s release date. The Netflix Original supernatural martial-arts series, created by John Wirth and Tony Krantz will premiere on the 17th of February 2022.

Wu Assassins boast a mixture of Kung Fu, Asian Street Food, and Science Fiction, with Iko Uwais starring as a Chinese-Indonesian chef who turns out to be the last of the Wu Assassins. One of our own Pearl Thusi, stars on the series, and we can’t wait to see her make us proud internationally once again.

Wu Assassins is one of the many international productions that Pearl has been on. The talented actress, media personality and entrepreneur starred on Queen Sono, a spy of the Special Operations Group (SOG) and daughter of Safiya Sono (Lady Skollie) a deceased South African revolutionary leader. So may people were devastated when the series didn’t return for season II because of Covid-19.

Pearl has also been on Quantico, where she played Dayana Mampasi, a human rights lawyer. After graduating from her training at Camp Peary, she becomes a case officer. She also bagged a role on The No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency, a star studded television series shot in Botswana, which had the likes of Jill Scott, Idris Elba, and Desmond Dube. She was also part of The Scorpion King: Book of souls cast, playing a Nubian princess that partners with the Scorpion King to stop an evil warlord who rules the world with a cursed sword.
