Pics! This is How Zizo Tshwete Celebrated Akhumzi Jezile on What Would Have Been His 33rd Birthday. He might be gone, but to his loved ones, Akhumzi Jezile is definitely not forgotten. Every year on his birthday date, his friends and family do something to show that he is still in their memories.
Akhumzi died in a car crash in Queenstown in the Eastern Cape in April 2018. Although it is almost four years since his death, a lot of people are still battling to come to terms with the fact that he is gone. Judging by how people always react to his birthday and death anniversary, goes in to show that the media personality, YOTV Series Producer, Director, and talented actor was loved by many in the industry.
This past Saturday, Akhumzi could have celebrated his 33rd birthday. Although he is not here, his close friends and family made sure they honor him. Among those is Zizo Tshwete, who took to Instagram to pen a beautiful message. The former Miss SA Teen and media personality spoke about the wonderful memories that Akhumzi left behind. On the day of his birthday, Zizo, some friends and Akhumzi’s family, had a great time reminiscing about the kind of person he was.
Today is the celebration of one of the coolest humans we have known in our lifetime!!! ❤️❤️❤️ There are so many great memories to think back on for everybody who knew him- all of them land in one place : we LOVED Jez and he LOVED all his friends!!!

Akhumzi’s best friend Dr Musa Mthombeni also penned a heartfelt message to remember him. He spoke highly of his friend and shared a series of pictures, showing off the great tomes they had together.
“Crazy what life takes from us, ” Musa said.
