Nonhle Thema Mourns Her Father. The first hero that every girl meets in their lifetime has to be their father. That is why the loss of a father to death is painful to digest for their kids, more so daughters. Sadly death is one of the realities we can’t avoid.
On that note, one individual who have just lost their father is Nonhle Thema. The talented media personality, actress and former IT Girl took to Instagram to share her grief. She has not revealed the cause of her father, Derrick Thema’s death, but instead she thanked him for being such a great father.
Although she is going through the most, Nonhle took the opportunity to celebrate the amazing life that her father lived. Just like her daughter, Derrick was a man of many talents. Among them he was an established journalist and actor. He starred in the 80s South African blockbuster, The Gods must be crazy, and Nonhle shared a clip from one of his scenes.
“One of a Kind Derrick Thema my father. I Love You Forever, a King. Rest easy daddy, I got you say hello to the rest of the THEMA family for me,” Nonhle said in one of her heartfelt tributes.
