Check Out Naledi Willers’ Memorial and Funeral Service Details. A week ago, the local entertainment industry suffered a major blow, when we lost a star. Naledi Willers took her last breath on the 8th of December after battling cancer for tow years.
The Real Housewives of Johannesburg Season I star, former Miss Botswana 2nd Princess, model and chef, was diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative breast cancer in November 2019. Although Naledi fought hard to keep the cancer at bay, Naledi unfortunately lost the battle on Tuesday 07 December. This came as a shock to a lot of people, more so since they were not aware it was that bad.
A lot of people took to social media to pour heartfelt tributes. Among those were other participants from Real Housewives of Johannesburg, Evodia Mogase, Brinnete Seopela and Christall Kay. Her friends in the entertainment industry, Minnie Dlamini and Babalwa Mneno, also paid tribute to their friend with touching messages.
According to a statement released by her family, Naledi’s memorial service will be held at Houghton Hotel on Wednesday, the 15th of December 2021. She will then be laid to rest on the 19th of December 2021 in her home country, Botswana. Due to Covid-19, only family and close friends will attend, and those who can’t attend, arrangements of live streamed and links will be shared across social media platforms.
“The friends & family of Naledi Willers wishes to invite you to a (Live Streaming) of her Memorial Service, to be held at Houghton Hotel on Wed, 15 Dec. Due to Covid protocols, attendance is only open to family & friends. Steaming links will be available on the day of memorial,” the statement reads.
