A year ago, talented actress Samkelo Ndlovu announced that she was dropping her music project. Samkelo, who used to play Lerato in Rhythm City, revealed then, that she has taken a break from acting and will fully focusing on music only for now. Going by the stage name, Samú, she dropped her first studio EP which early this year. Other personalities who dropped music projects this year include, Tino Chinyani, Anele Zodo and Dingaan Khumalo.

Tino is adding singer to his list after launching his first single Nothing For Free on Friday in celebration of his birthday. Anele Zondo has just shown her versatility as an entertainer. A few weeks ago, the talented actress, media personality and DJ dropped her debut single “Ingwe” which features Given Zulu. According to Anele, music has always been a thing in her life. Her father who was a a principal and a choir conductor, made his children understand music from a young age.

Another individual who has pushed boundaries in the industry is Pearl Thusi. She is a talented actress, a media personality, an MC, an influencer, among other things. In January, Pearl worked with the legendary producer, Oskido on a song titled, Unemali, where she shows off her amazing vocal skills. The track also features the talented songstress Nokwazi Dlamini and rapper Focalistic.
