Robert Marawa Bags a Cool Ambassadorship Gig With An International Car Brand. Congratulations are in order for Robert Marawa as he secures the bag. The veteran media personality has just bagged himself a cool ambassadorship gig. Marawa took to Twitter to announce his great news of being a member of the Lexus South Africa family.
Marawa came right in time as the luxury car brand launches its Lexus IS 300 F model. He received a lot of congratulatory messages from fans and followers on Twitter. Marawa regards this gig as an honor, and shared some cool pictures with a brand new set of wheels.
“So..we begin the month anew with a new member to our family. @lexus_southafrica and I will be out to show you hybrid living in Lexus IS 300 F model. Go the road less travelled #ExperienceAmazing I’m really honoured to begin my journey with this global brand,” Marawa announced.

This is such great news for Marawa who went through the most this year. At some point he battled with Covid-19, and was even hospitalized. After his hospital admission, he was then transferred to the ICU ward where he stayed for a week. Marawa was then taken to the General ward where he was observed for two days before getting discharged. It was concluded that the extensive level of Covid-19 pneumonia that Marawa had could have turned out for the worst had he not received medical attention as soon as he did.
A few months later, Marawa was unexpectedly fired from SABC where he anchored MSW radio show on Metro FM and Radio 2000. The SABC did not reveal their reasons for parting ways with him, but instead wished him all the best in his future endeavors.
