Zenande Mfenyana Celebrates a Decade in The Industry and Reveals Her First TV Role. When it comes to this industry consistency is key. You can be the in-thing to day, and be completely forgotten tomorrow. This is because they is always new talent popping in, and sometimes actors fall out with production companies as well as fans.

One person who has remained consistent all these years is Zenande Mfenyana. The talented actress and influencer came into the spotlight in 2011 where she starred on Mfundi Vundla’s SABC 1’s soap opera Generations. She portrayed the role of Noluntu Memela, the daughter of Mawande Memela, until she was fired in August 2014 due to a strike that featured 15 of the cast members, including Connie Ferguson.

That was not the end of her career though. In January 2015, Mfenyana starred as Reba on e.tv’s soap opera Ashes to Ashes, alongside Tina Jaxa and Menzi Ngubane. She then played the main role of Babalwa on seasons one and two of the Ferguson Films’ Mzansi Magic’s Xhosa drama series Igazi.
In 2017, Mfenyana bagged a role in another Ferguson Films production. She plays the main role of Goodness Mabuza on The Queen. Other than being a dope actress, of recent Mfenyana has been bagging advert gogs on TV and we are here for her growth and versatility.

Today marks exactly 10 years since I made my TV debut, I played the role of Noluntu on Generations. I loved playing this character, and today I’m so grateful that I am still a working actress in this country, to God be the glory,” Mfenyana said.
