Rami Chuene Bags A Role In A Hit TV Drama
Rami Chuene Bags A Role In A Hit TV Drama. This is definitely her year for the taking. When Rami Chuene announced her exit from The Queen in January 2020, she was out of work for a couple of months. Many were worried about her, since there is new talent that is taking up space in the industry. But before we knew it, Rami was back, bagging acting as well as TV hosting gigs.
Among the acting gigs she scored, was playing the character if Jumima in BET’s Isono. Juju, as she was affectionately called, was a gossiper who often buys into occasional conspiracy theories and gets the wrong end of the stick by making odd connections. Unfortunately the much loved character was killed off from the telenovela a few months ago.
A week ago, Rami debuted her new reality TV show titled ‘Away for Repair‘ alongside life coach Romeo Mabasa. The one of a kind show, showcases heartfelt stories of ordinary people taking much-needed time away to mend broken bonds.
The talented actress and media personality just has scored herself a new role in SABC 2’s popular drama series Giyani: Land of Blood. Rami will be portraying the character of Manoko Ledwaba in the second season of the drama series. Giyani: Land of Blood‘s 2nd season is set to premiere next month on a new slot on Thursdays and Fridays at 9 pm starting from the 1st of November.
Spent the whole day working on #GiyaniS2 – see you guys 1st November at 9:30 PM on @SABC_2 as @ramichuene boards the train. @TshedzaPictures ❤️ pic.twitter.com/HKYANP7NTk
