No matter how much time passes, you will not get over the loss of a loved one; you just have to find a way to learn to live with it. Ferguson passed away in the 30th of July at the Milpark private hospital in Johannesburg after battling Covid-19. His death was deemed a loss to the film and TV industry, where he was one of the major players. Shona was given a sent off fit for a King, with a spectacular funeral as well as a touching memorial service.
Shona was married to Connie for almost 20 years, and together they ran the Ferguson Films empire. The power couple inspired the masses over the years with the love that they had for each other. From baecations, to romantic social media posts, the Fergusons were the epitome of black love. His untimely death affected his close knit family in so many ways. Since Shona’s passing, Connie and the children share touching posts about their loss every now and then.
Since life has to go on, Connie is back at work after grieving her man for over a month. The award winning actress, producer and entrepreneur has taken to social media to share a video of herself back on set. Connie was in a very good mood as she greeted some of the cast and crew members of The Queen. On the Mzansi Magic telenovela, she plays Harriet Khoza, a woman who will do anything to protect her family, and make sure the family business reaches greater heights.
