Levels! Thapelo Mokoena’s Wine Brand Bags An International Award Nomination. A number of our celebrities have ventured into the alcohol industry, and they are doing so well. The likes of Bonang Matheba, DJ Zinhle, Boity Thulo, Khanyi Mbau, J Something, Kelly Khumalo, MacG and others have major alcohol brands which are loved by many.
Another celebrity who has tapped in the industry is Thapelo Mokoena. The veteran award winning actor, TV personality and entrepreneur partnered with the Bosman Family Vineyards on a brand partnership called Bosman-Bakwena. They have a wine called Nero that’s now available countrywide, and worldwide.
Nero has just been nominated and shortlisted for the 2021 Drinks Business Awards which will be held in the United Kingdom. Nero will be competing for the Best Launch and Introduction into the UK market. Mokoena thanked The Drinks Business for the recognition.
