If it’s not bagging major shows, they are doing the most with their various business ventures.
Another female media personality to look out for is, Zanele Potelwa. A few months ago she was announced as the new host of the lunch slot on 5FM. By having her own show, Zanele increased the number of female radio personalities who are currently taking up space in the airwaves. Se is also doing amazing things as SABC1 Selimathunzi presenter. Adding another gig to her profile, Zanele is the host of this year’s Sunday Times Gen Next Awards.
“I’m so excited to let you know that I’m the host of this year’s Sunday Times Gen Next Awards. I cannot wait!!! 2 years ago I hoped to one day host these awards that I adore so much and this year, I get the incredible honour of being the host. God is so good,” she announced.
The Sunday Times GenNext event, now in its 17th year, is a youth brand preference and consumer behavior event held annually. The results will showcase which brands and personalities the youth identify with the most providing important insight to brands and marketers around the world. This year’s awards will be broadcast live on YouTube on 9 September 2021 at 10am.
