Lerato Kganyago Bags A Cool Hosting Gig. The more there are gigs, the more our personalities secure bags. One event in the calendar that a lot of people are waiting for are the South Africa Film and Television Awards. The Awards, which started in 2005 honour, celebrate and promote the creativity, quality and excellence of South African Film and Television talent and productions,. They also serve to encourage entrepreneurship and the development of new talent within the industry.

Themed “Still Shining”, this year’s SAFTAS celebration will be a simulcast on Mzansi Magic and SABC3 on 22 May 2021 from 7pm. The nominees are already out, and all that we are waiting for is for the big day where winners will be announced. Despite the whole Covid-19 pandemic, some of our personalities will be working hard to keep us entertained. Among them are Dineo Langa, Mpho Popps and Graeme Richards who have been unveiled as hosts.

The virtual red carpet will be hosted by none other than Lerato Kganyago and Lasizwe. The SAFTAs Craft Awards, which is set to take place on 21 May and streamed live on the SAFTAs YouTube channel at 19:00 will be hosted by Tracey Lange and Lesego Tlhabi.
