Even though you are as rich as Shauwn Mkhize, it is quite satisfying to see your children create their own paths and win at this life thing. Mam’ Mkhize as she is affectionately known, always pushes her children to be the best they can ever be.
Her son Andile Mpisane and daughter Sbahle are without a doubt the apple of her eye. Sbahle is a bit private, but Andile on the other hand, always shows off the extravagant life they live. He is also close to his mom and the two often snap pictures together rocking designer clothes. This has made him a target to critics, who always judge his family’s lifestyle. But hey, this bunch simply ignore all the hate spread on social media or mainstream media. Their reality show, also earned them a huge fan base, keeping negativity at bay.
One of the things that Andile constantly gets dragged about is what he does for a living. He kick-started his music career as a Gqom artist with “Umcimbi”, featuring Madanon and Distruction Boyz, for which he bagged an international award nomination. Andile then became the hot talking point on social media after he awarded himself the number 10 jersey of the Royal AM FC late last year, a football team that he is also chairman of.
eNCA’s Siphokazi Malinga recently caught up with the inspirational young man who wears three hats. In the interview, Andile pointed out that, as someone who has always been passionate about football, he has not struggled to fulfill his duties as a player, as well as club chairman. Andile also loves entertaining people through music, so he finds it easy to carry out these three passions.
His mom Shauwn couldn’t be more proud. She admits that the road is not easy, but the prominent businesswoman commends her son for pulling it off.
