Zoleka Mandela Celebrates The Success of Her Book

Zoleka Mandela Celebrates The Success of Her Book. In 2014 Zoleka Mandela, released her book, When Hope Whispers. This book tells a story about a woman; a story about her struggle. Zoleka wrote the book when she was just 33 years of age, and she opened up about every personal problem she had gone through.

Among other sad incidents, Zoleka has endured the horror of losing two children within two years. In 2010, Zoleka Mandela’s 13-year-old daughter, Zenani, was killed in a car crash on the way home from a concert. At the time, Zoleka was recovering from a suicide attempt. Her son Zenawe Zibuyile, sadly passed away in 2011 at infancy. As if that was not enough, she was also treated for breast cancer in 2011, which returned in 2016. Zoleka, who is the granddaughter of struggle icons, Nelson Mandela and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela took to social media to share her story about the tumor and the side effects of her chemotherapy treatment.

Despite all of this, Zoleka does not regard herself as a victim. She is a survivor, and her story serves as testimony to the strength of the human spirit in fighting against life’s challenges. She is a living example of success in spite of overwhelming challenges. The great news is that Zoleka is now clean and cancer-free. She is also here celebrating the success of her book which is once again sold out.
