Bonang Matheba’s Public Figure Film Comes To TV. This is definitely a very Bonang year. Bonang Matheba, continues to dominate the entertainment and media industry, with her shrewd business mindset. Just a few days ago, her two part documentary special broke viewership record.
The award winning media personality, is back again with a bang. The film that she co-produced, Public Figure is due to air on SABC1. The official premiere of the film, took place at the Manchester Film Festival in the UK earlier in 2019 and was aired at the Socially Relevant Film Festival in New York. It was also picked up for distribution by Gravitas Ventures and made its South African debut in June 2019.
If you didn’t get the chance the chance to watch it at the cinema, do not despair. Public Figure will air on SABC1 on 24th & 31st August at 21:00. Will she break another viewership record? There is a high possibility.
