“I Will Miss You Desperately,” Melanie Bala Pays Tribute To Her Former Colleague and Friend Bob Mabena. His untimely death has shocked many people across the country. Since Bob Mabena, was a living legend, many took to social media to remember the media personality and send condolences to his family.

One person who worked closely with Mabena for years, is Melanie Bala. The two were co-hosts on the hugely popular TV show, Studio Mix. They have also presented major red carpet shows together, including the 2019 South African Music Awards.

Reflect about their time working together Melanie pointed out that, as a colleague and friend, Mabena always had her back. “We were just two kids from Pretoria, who were having the time of our lives – it just happened to be on the biggest TV music show in the country. From appearances at tiny clubs in small towns, to filling up stadiums in cities, on television and radio, he always had my back,” she said.
