Tumisho Masha Shines With Lead Role In a New Thriller Series

Tumisho Masha Shines With Lead Role In a New Thriller Series. Many last saw Tumisho Masha on Mzansi Magic telenovela Champions, playing Philemon Modise. In just a day’s time, the massively talented actor, producer and voiceover artist will be back on our TV screens. Tumisho stars in Invisible, a television thriller miniseries based on Deon Meyer’s novel Blood Safari. He plays Colonel Jack Phatudi, a seasoned SIU investigator, who is respected for his instincts, intelligence, and relentless pursuit of the truth.

About Invisible

The storyline follows bodyguard Martin Dekker and London-based expat Emma Le Roux as they uncover a decades-buried conspiracy in the South African Lowveld. In the small town of Hoedspruit, a group of local poachers are executed one by one by a mysterious killer. SAPS investigator Colonel Phatudi begins a relentless manhunt to uncover who is behind the brutal killings, and why, as he closes in on a network of corruption reaching the highest corridors of power.

Convinced he is still alive, Emma returns to South Africa and hires bodyguard Dekker to help track him down, setting off a chain of events that draws them into a deadly conspiracy stretching back decades.

The series draws on real events, including the mysterious 1986 plane crash that claimed the life of former Mozambican President Samora Machel.

A Star Studded Series

Beside Tumisho, there are other key cast members. Among them are Abbie Cornish, Dougray Scott, Tim Theron, Frank Rautenbach, Kim Engelbrecht, Chi Mhende and Siv Ngesi.

“Invisible starts Wednesday 14 October at 8pm only on @Mnet. This show is fire 🔥 DON’T MISS IT #fire #action #thriller,” Tumisho said.
