Key Responsibilities

• Execute all point-of-sale (POS) activities efficiently and accurately, ensuring that customer transactions are completed within the required timeframes.
• Scan merchandise correctly and collect payments for goods purchased by customers.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy when processing transactions and actioning Clicks ClubCard rewards.
• Handle cash safely and responsibly at all times, following company policies and procedures.
• Proactively promote the Clicks ClubCard and assist with enrolling new members to help achieve store membership participation targets.
• Inform customers about current promotions, special offers and relevant products to support sales and improve the shopping experience.
• Deliver excellent customer service by acting as a Clicks brand ambassador and providing friendly, professional assistance.
• Remain visible and approachable in the store so customers can easily access help when needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, product ranges, promotions and store events to provide correct information to customers.
• Assist customers with product enquiries and direct them to appropriate products when necessary.
• Perform merchandising duties according to Clicks store standards and visual merchandising requirements.
• Maintain neat, attractive and well-organised product displays.
• Complete general housekeeping duties to keep the store clean, tidy and ready for customers.
• Follow stock management procedures and help maintain proper product presentation and availability.
• Follow instructions and established procedures when performing cashiering, merchandising and other store duties.

Requirements and Skills

• Grade 12 or Matric certificate is essential.
