On Wednesday, the education drama clocked 15 years of existence. How heartwarming is it that Skeem Saam still has a number of it’s original cast members, and they have grown with them. One such is Clement Maosa, who plays the lead role of Zamokuhle ‘Kwaito’ Seakamela.
From High School to Family Man
Kwaito started off as a troubled high school boy. From the get go, Kwaito and his friend Thabo ‘TBose’ Maputla, hit Ben Kunutu with a car, killing him instantly. This saw the two boys face challenges, which included a court case. Trying to be on the straight and narrow, Kwaito concentrated in his books, and did well academically. He also became a published author, and at some point a teacher. Trouble still followed him, even in his adult life. From being kidnapped, to infidelity, he has seen it all. Now he is a married man, a father and running a business that he co-founded with his half brother Tbose.
