Innocentia Manchidi Takes Us Through the Naming of Her Second Child. Back in April, Innocentia Manchidi announced that she was expecting her second child. The former Muvhango actress shared the news on her 7th wedding anniversary. She posted a picture, showing off her bump while posing with her husband, Mpho Manchidi. The couple welcomed their son Dipoko-di-a-motshwanela Manchidi, a few months ago, completing their beautiful family of four.
For many the name might be a tongue twister, but until they hear the meaning, they will say it with ease. The couple sat down and thought of a name that glorifies and praise God. After a beautiful pregnancy journey, the Manchidis went with the name Dipoko, which is a Setswana word for praises. The name comes from Innocentia’s favorite hymn, which is all about praising God.

Naming our children has to be one of my favourite parts of the parenting journey. With both of our children, we sat down and asked ourselves: “what do we want to say about God?” because for us, their names had to, without fail, glorify and praise Him.
