The Clicks Youth Employment Programme combines classroom-based learning with practical experience in a Clicks retail store. Participants will gain hands-on exposure to daily retail operations, customer service and checkout procedures while working alongside experienced retail professionals. Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will receive an NQF Level 2 Checkout Operator Occupational Qualification, helping to improve their employability and future career prospects.
Key Responsibilities
During the programme, successful participants will:
• Attend classroom-based training sessions.
• Complete practical workplace training in a Clicks retail store.
• Learn checkout and point-of-sale operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service to shoppers.
• Develop communication and interpersonal skills.
• Assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Learn retail procedures and operational standards.
• Work effectively as part of a retail team.
• Follow company policies and workplace procedures.
• Build practical experience in the health and beauty retail industry.

• Successfully complete all programme requirements to obtain the qualification.
Requirements and Skills
To qualify for the Clicks Youth Employment Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Be a South African citizen.
• Be between 18 and 29 years of age.
• Have successfully passed Matric.
• Be currently unemployed.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be willing to learn and develop new skills.
• Be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Not be currently registered for any learnership or skills development programme.
