Key Responsibilities
• Deliver professional and knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products.
• Consult with customers and recommend products that meet their individual needs.
• Answer product-related questions with confidence and accuracy.
• Drive sales through effective promotion, cross-selling and up-selling techniques.
• Consistently work towards achieving monthly sales targets.
• Monitor product performance and provide suggestions to improve sales opportunities.
• Stay informed about beauty trends, new product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Execute daily operational activities within the beauty department.
• Assist with stock management and help minimise stock losses.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and administrative standards.
• Ensure visual merchandising and promotional displays meet company standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service as a professional brand ambassador.
• Promote the Clicks ClubCard programme and encourage customer enrolment.
• Increase sales by promoting private label and exclusive beauty products.
• Support the company’s commitment to becoming customers’ preferred health and beauty retailer.
Requirements and Skills
• Grade 12 qualification.
• A relevant beauty or skincare qualification will be advantageous.
• Previous experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales or marketing will be beneficial.
• Strong understanding of customer service principles.
• Knowledge of beauty and skincare products.
• Understanding of merchandising and promotional activities.
• Knowledge of stock management procedures.
• Strong selling and persuasion skills.
• Results-driven with the ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, confident and engaging personality.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
