Ama Qamata is now showing the world what she is made of, with her new film titled Fight Like A Girl. A few days ago,Ama announced that for the first time, the South African public will get to experience the film on the big screen at Sterkinekor. After which there will be a powerful panel discussion hosted by Women for Change South Africa. The conversation will explore the story and the importance of female resilience, which is a central theme in the film.

Fight Like A Girl, is a film which was shot in Goma (an active war zone) a few years ago. It is based on true events, inspired by the courageous journey of young Congolese boxing champion Clarck Ntambwe and her coach Balezi “Kibomango” Bagunda. Balezi was tragically killed amid ongoing violence in East Congo last year while helping rescue orphans to safety
