About the Role

As a Permanent Part-timer, you will support the store management team with daily retail operations while delivering outstanding customer service. You will assist customers in finding the right products, maintain excellent store presentation, process sales transactions and contribute to achieving store sales goals. This role requires flexibility, enthusiasm and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings, weekends and busy trading periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional adidas customer service to every shopper.
• Welcome customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Develop strong product knowledge to confidently explain product features and benefits.
• Use effective selling techniques, including add-on sales, to maximise sales opportunities.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and replenishing stock from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Support merchandising activities and maintain attractive product displays.
• Ensure shelves, displays and store areas remain clean, organised and fully stocked.
• Help with ticketing merchandise and checking delivery paperwork against received stock.
• Safeguard company assets and follow all loss prevention and security procedures.
• Monitor the sales floor and report suspicious behaviour when necessary.
• Participate in in-store and digital training programmes to improve product knowledge and retail skills.
• Learn to use Power BI tools to better understand store performance, best-selling products and inventory trends.
• Assist management with general store maintenance and other operational duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• 0 to 1 year of retail experience.
• Previous fashion retail experience will be advantageous but is not essential.
• Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
